a social recreation program with extra support for our VIP Stars

Star Days is a social recreation program offering fulfilling art, cooking, and gardening experiences for teens and adults with special gifts and needs. (Our VIP Stars) We are a small program serving a maximum of 6 individuals, and supported by qualified and caring volunteers who fully participate side by side in what has become a family-like community.

Our 2025 activities include printmaking, collage, expressive journal making, sculpture, paper mâché, decoupage, building planter boxes and bird houses, formulating essential oil scents, mosaics, papermaking, ceramics, chicken care, and of course, making new friends!

Real life kitchen skills are taught while having fun making yummy nutritional foods such as pizza, salads, smoothies, cookies, and stews. Needless to say, lunch is included!
